The third graders in Mrs. Siebert's class at Washington Elementary are giving back with a social service project!
Steve Yasukawa’s fifth grade class at Washington Elementary is heating things up — literally! They’re exploring how heating and cooling affect materials, focusing on the Statue of Liberty. From water to bread to glass, they’re asking: When does a material change into a new substance, and when does it simply change its state of matter?
The summer has slipped through our hands, and it’s almost time for our students to return to school. I’m excited to welcome them back with open arms, love, care, compassion, empathy, and energy and prepare them for an exciting and successful school year.
