We can use all types of volunteers, whether you have one hour a week to volunteer in the lunch room or at recess or are simply available to translate a paragraph of English into Spanish.

Joining the Washington School PTA

You may think...Joining the Washington School PTA means you have to perpetually volunteer, attend boring meetings or chair a committee.

In fact...Simply being a PTA member helps cover our annual Illinois PTA dues, allows you to vote on PTA issues and offers support for the organization. If you do choose to get more involved, you’ll find a warm, welcoming community. Moreover, research suggests that children do better in school when their parents are engaged in their education. The all-volunteer Washington PTA is the force behind dozens of events and programs that otherwise wouldn’t happen.
