We know there often isn't time to volunteer and budgets can be tight, but there are other ways to give back to the school: 

Shop and Give

Earn money for Washington by registering for the Kroger/Food4Less rewards program. To register/enroll your rewards card:

  1. Go to
  2. Register/Log into your account
  3. Choose Community Rewards - Enroll
  4. Designate Washington Elementary

Donate Clothes

The Evanston School Children's Clothing Association (ESCCA) gratefully accepts good quality, new or gently-used clean clothing for Kindergarten through 8th grade children.

ESCCA mostly needs:

  • Winter parkas and warm coats for sizes 8 (youth) through teen/adult
  • Boys long sleeved shirts sizes 10-18
  • Fleece jackets and pullovers for girls and boys
  • Hoodies, sweatshirts and sweatpants for girls and boys
  • Warm gloves, scarves, snow pants

Please, don’t donate:

  • Footwear
  • Baby or toddler clothes or sizes smaller than 5-6 youth
  • Clothing with rips, stains, broken zippers
